Small talk.

Drawing pictures is my favorite hobby.First,drawing can make me relax my mind.When I am drawing,I feel happy and fascinated.Second,drawing boasts my ego.When I finish a picture—usually is a portrait or a charactor in comic books—and show it to my friends or families,they often give me applause,which makes me more confident.Third,drawing pictures is very interesting.Even if no one can do it well at first,to draw some daily events or some little items is still fun.In a word,drawing pictures not only entertains me but encourages me.Therefore,whenever I have free time,I take a pen and draw pictures.

My Best Friend(羞)
I’d like to introduce a special person to you. She is not only forthright but easy-going. She is my best friend, Stacey.  

First of all, She is forthright. She never masks herself whether she is happy or angry. Some people may think this is impolite, but I like people without pretense—just like Stacey—rather than those who always pander. 
Second, she is easy-going. Her friendliness makes her get along well with other people. But unlike a social butterfly, she treats everyone with her genuineness. In other words, she is sincere. She is definitely a friend for life. 
Besides, she always puts friendship in priority. When her friends get into trouble, she will try her best to help them. For instance, when I failed my exam and soak myself in distress, she tried all the ways she could come up with to cheer me up. I still appreciate her about her support now. 
Stacey is a cheerful and lovely girl. Maybe she is not the most intelligent person, but she is absolutely a best friend. I regard her as one of the most important people in my life. I hope you’ll like her as well as I do. 

Life Without Electricity

Imagine one morning you wake up, you find the alarm clock didn’t go off, and you have already been late for work. Then you rush out of the door, you find the elevator not working. Even worse, when you finally get to the ground floor, you see all the automobiles stuck on the street due to no electricity. What a terrible morning! 
If one day we had to live without electricity, everything would be very inconvenient. What’s more, hundreds of thousands of trade on the whole world would absolutely stop. Human being’s life would go backwards to the 19th. We would travel by carriage, steamed train, bike or steamship. The power we need would rely on steamer or coal oil. We would have no computers, televisions, refrigerators or air-conditioners. What a horrible world! I think we should cherish electricity we have now. Thanks to scientists who found the way to utilize electricity. Due to their great contribution, We have more convenient lives.
